Avatar: Its finally here, after an incessant month of ad-campaigning whilst keeping the film itself somewhat in the dark, I expect mind-blowing visuals, sensational action scenes and some connect the dots emoting, courtesy of the James Cameron model. Expectancy Level: 7/10
St Trinian's 2: The only film with enough balls to go up against Cameron's monolith is the sequel to a sparsely watched, kind of terrible Brit comedy franchise. The film may be awful, but no-one can accuse it of cowardice I suppose. I saw the first one and it did enough damage, no need to do it again. Expectancy Level: 2/10
Update: Avatar is currently at 91% at rotten tomatoes, and critics seem to be going for it. Empire and Total Film give it 5 stars. This is another one of those times cynics end up with egg on their faces isn't it.
